"We were pleasantly surprised by the entire facility and our room. The facility has a Charleston-like ambiance with large fountains, lots of landscaping and areas to sit. Our courtyard room was updated with new bed linens and bath fixtures, was air conditioned and had a TV. The swimming pool is large and fenced. The dock at the lake (one block away) had built-in benches where we sat and enjoyed the evening. Kayaks were available but we didn't use them. A new bar/grill was almost complete and we look forward to coming back to enjoy it. We looked in one of the rooms in the inn and it was lovely with a claw-foot tub. The 'Leaves' restaurant was available for dinner with reservations, but we ate on Main St. at Hannah Flanagan's Irish Pub which was the most active restaurant on Main St."

"Copper Crest was a perfect spot for our family. We were impressed with the spacious grounds. Even though the resort is so close to downtown, we got the feeling of a peaceful retreat with the gardens and nearby lake. Copper Crest does a wonderful job accomodating all types of guests. It was obvious that this was a spot for couples on romantic weekends as well as families looking for comfortable rooms and space to roam. There is a swimming pool which would be great in warmer weather. The onsite restaurant was oustanding. I was doubly impressed with the staff offering information on other great restaurants in the area. I can only imagine how beautiful Copper Crest must be during the Christmas season. I highly recommend this resort. It's a jewel hidden in the midst of a great Western North Carolina town. Thumbs up!"

"My 50th birthday brunch celebration on September 16th was absolutely spectacular! The service, food and setting was beyond my dreams and it was such a wonderful experience. And to top that, the staff was friendly, kind and accommodating and in my opinion, went well above and beyond our expectations. Did I mention how wonderful the food was? The brunch menu that the chef planned for my celebration was incredible. My family and friends continue to rave about how wonderful the food was. Copper Crest was the perfect setting and location to have my celebration since family and friends were traveling from Atlanta and Raleigh/Durham. Most people came up for the day, but I had the luxury of staying for the weekend and it was great. I registered to stay in the Inn and my room was so cozy and comfortable. Thank you again Copper Crest for helping to make my celebration a most memorable one. I look forward to my next visit."
